What makes it special

Why couples choose it

Banquet room at THE CLASSICA Omotesando

01 / 03

A ceremony room under two trees

The Sound Hall is on the top floor, open to the light, with a hexagonal stone at the altar and a planted Benjamin and Kakuremino on either side. In the Japanese language of flowers the two stand for the love between a couple and the bond of a family, which is why they are there.

The Bamboo Garden room, with the grove rising through the building

02 / 03

A bamboo garden inside the banquet room

The Bamboo Garden room is built around a grove that rises through the full height of the building, landscaped by one of Japan's leading garden designers. It takes 106 guests and reads as a garden first and a room second.

French-Japonais cuisine

French-Japonais

The kitchen cooks French technique on Japanese ingredients: seasonal produce, traditional seasonings, familiar flavours arriving in unfamiliar form. It is built to please a table that spans three generations.

About the venue

The full picture

THE CLASSICA Omotesando stands on the approach to Meiji Jingu, in the part of Tokyo that manages to be both the most current and the most Japanese. The site is one the venue traces to Inaba Ittetsu, remembered as a tea master, and the house is run in the spirit of chanoyu: attention to each moment, and hospitality as the point of the exercise.

In 2018 the venue opened Bettei KEYAKI, a separate annex for small weddings. Between the two buildings the house handles anything from six guests to 106. Omotesando Station is three minutes on foot, Haneda about fifty minutes away with one change, Narita about seventy.
