What makes it special

Why couples choose it

The Sound Hall, lit from the sides and overhead

01 / 03

A ceremony room on the top floor, lit from above

The Sound Hall is the highest room in the building. Daylight comes in from the sides and overhead, the walls are planted, and the altar is set on hexagonal natural stone with water running beside it. It seats 108.

Banquet room with a two-storey atrium

02 / 03

A 5.5-metre ceiling and a two-storey atrium

The banquet rooms, Magnolia and Orchid, each take 122 guests under a 5.5-metre ceiling that opens into a two-storey void. Each has its own kitchen, so service comes from next door rather than from three floors down.

Flower shower on the rooftop terrace

The Roof

A planted terrace on top of the building, open to the sky. Couples use it for the flower shower and group photographs straight after the ceremony, with Tenjin below.

About the venue

The full picture

THE CLASSICA GOEN opened in July 2026 in Tenjin, the commercial centre of Fukuoka, two minutes on foot from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. The name is go-en, the Japanese word for the ties that bring people together, and the building was designed around Japanese ideas of light, shadow and natural material rather than around a Western ballroom.

Fukuoka has always been Japan's gateway to the rest of Asia, which makes it a practical choice for a wedding with guests arriving from Hong Kong, Taiwan or the mainland. The airport is eleven minutes from Tenjin by subway, with no change of train.
